La Caixa will continue to entrust everis with development of its information systems, through the renewal of the application development and maintenance contract for the next four years. The new contract, effective until December 2013, is the renewal of the instrument signed in 2006, reaffirming the financial institution’s trust in everis, which has been La Caixa's technological partner since 2003, providing it with application development and maintenance services.
Through the contract renewal, the financial institution shows its continued confidence in everis to advance, innovate and improve the efficiency and quality of its information systems. The consulting firm will provide the bank with all innovations produced domestically and internationally in the field of information technology, with emphasis on those relating to the financial industry.
"The commitment to technological innovation will be a key focus for the development and efficiency of the institution in the future," said everis Catalonia managing partner, Fritz Hoderlein, who also highlighted the close cooperation of the consulting firm with La Caixa. Along these lines, everis, as global partner, currently offers the bank a set of other infrastructure services (systems, mainframe and midrange system technology; communications management and operation services) as well as process outsourcing services.
