The Prince of Wales, Prince Charles, met yesterday at the headquarters of the Community of Madrid with a delegation of Spanish companies among which were everis, Banco Santander, Iberdrola, Iberia and Ferrovial, among other large companies. The meeting, which aimed to promote bilateral investment and to know the plans of the major Spanish companies in the UK, was attended by everis partner, Ricardo Penalva.
The meeting, which was part of the official visit of the Prince of Wales to Spain, took place in the regional government headquarters in the Puerta del Sol, where he was received by President of Madrid, Esperanza Aguirre.
Prince Charles also visited the headquarters of the Madrid Executive, where he saw an exhibition of thirteen projects of Spanish companies that work with British companies in the fields of energy sector, education, advanced engineering, life sciences and architecture.
