everis has opened its new office in Ciudad Real, an initiative that reflects the company's commitment to the community of Castilla La Mancha. The office, located in Ciudad Real, acquires special relevance within everis since it will become the head office of the new remote technical support center RTSC or Call Center.
The Vice President of Castilla La Mancha, María Luisa Araújo, Roman Rivera, the mayor of Miguelturra, and the managing partner of everis in Castilla La Mancha, Bruno Sanz attended the opening ceremony.
During the ceremony, the Vice President of Castilla La Mancha thanked everis for "the trust of the company to promote the development of new technologies, telecommunications and knowledge, as well as its contribution to strength the economic and business structures of the community”. The mayor of Miguelturra stressed that the commitment of everis in the town "it is of great importance in terms of creating new jobs, and it implies a very significant step forward to consolidate Miguelturra as a digital city".
Bruno Sanz, managing partner of everis in Castilla La Mancha stated: "The opening of the office in Ciudad Real reinforces the position of everis in remote management services. With the relocation of a number of relevant projects so far managed from other offices, this one in Ciudad Real will develop remote management and monitoring for private institutions like the University of Castilla-La Mancha, and abroad, cloud computing projects for the Government of Puerto Rico".
This office starts with fifteen employees, expecting doubling it in the coming months, ending the year with a team of fifty professionals.
As CSTR headquarters, it will offer clients operational, administration and monitoring of computer systems services. Ciudad Real will provide Hosting / Housing infrastructure services and Cloud Computing, for development projects inside everis but also for end clients.
This office is also maintaining a strong commitment and close relationship with the University of Castilla-La Mancha. Besides the administration and support for the Data Processing Center projects, this office is developing CPD energy efficiency projects and different collaborations for the adaptation of information systems. This confirm our commitment to local talent in order to increase the range of professional careers in the university and to contribute to the creation of employment in Castilla-La Mancha.
