The event was chaired by María del Pino, President of the Rafael del Pino Foundation, Ramon Perelló, publisher of Ediciones Destino, Eduardo Serra, President of the everis foundation and vice president of everis, Emilio Ontiveros, President of AFI and Professor of business Economics at the Universidad Autonoma de Madrid, and Victor Garcia de la Concha, recently appointed director of the Instituto Cervantes. The presentation of the book “Keys to transform Spain” was held under the watchful eyes of over 300 guests.
The book, published by Ediciones Destion, is the fruit of a collaborative work of Eduardo Serra together with the director of the TransformaEspaña initiative and director of Innovation at everis, Marc Alba, and the coordinator of the report and director of business innovation and regional development of everis Innova, David Garcia Hernandez.
“Keys to transform Spain” reflects the individual opinions of its three authors, as well as anonymous reflections of the signatories of the TransformaEspaña report. It also includes new appointments that show the different points of views of leading experts of our country.
It was in the spring of 2010 when around a hundred personalities from the business world, academia and opinion leaders, were interviewed by the everis foundation to work on the TransformaEspaña report. After a collective exercise of reflection, without institutional intermediaries, they offered a vision of the country's problems and possible solutions.
