The University Miguel Hernández in Elche (Alicante) and everis have signed a collaboration agreement to strengthen the synergies between the areas of innovation of both organizations. The Vice Chancellor of Institutional Design and Development, Teresa Pérez Vázquez and the partner in charge of the Alicante everis office, Jose Pablo Carbonell Castelló, were in the signing act.
The agreement will allow the university and the company to reach other partnerships that include, among others, the internship of students in their final years through cooperation and research programs. Moreover, as explained the Vice Chancellor Teresa Pérez, “the document signed today lays the foundations for other specific agreements on projects of an educational, scientific, technological and cultural nature, as well as the development of joint national and international projects.”
During the ceremony, Jose Pablo Carbonell expressed his satisfaction with this agreement that "will bring the academic world to real business and continue with the growing trend of incorporating University graduates to the company offices in the region of Valencia, which already have more than 500 employees."
Counseling on issues related to activities of both organizations will be another aim of the agreement, as happened with the definition of the e-Government Master Plan in which everis participated and that is serving as a road map in the modernization of the University.
