International Office History
International Expansion is among Everis’ most important strategic objectives. In 2005, the International Office was created in order to pursue this objective.
For all purposes, the International Office operates as another Everis office, responsible for all countries where there is no local presence. Thus, as of 2005 and to date, the International Office has developed projects of high added value in Colombia, Peru, Ecuador, Venezuela, El Salvador, Honduras, Dominican Republic, UK, France, Switzerland, Philippines, Czech Republic, Serbia and Australia. The International Office proposes to clients from all these countries the services offer it considers most differential, focusing therefore on projects that require a level of knowledge it may be difficult for companies to find locally for their projects.
For projects in countries where Everis does not have a local presence, the International Office has a staff of professionals with a vocation for multinational work. These professionals are complemented by the experts the project requires for its execution, who come from different offices of Everis worldwide. Thus, the clients of Everis’ International Office benefit from the possibility of having a broad range of professionals irrespective of their physical origin.
In addition to managing all these international projects, the International Office analyzes the markets that may be interesting for Everis at the time of establishing local operations in the territory. Following an initial analysis, the International Office conducts field work in the target country in order to obtain firsthand knowledge of both the local market and the professionals with whom to embark on creating a new office.
Finally, with a view to maximizing its contribution to the company’s multinational expansion, the International Office serves as a support for the various offices of Everis worldwide when it comes to preparing a differential offer to the company’s diverse clients based on its extensive transnational knowledge.
