worth over €5 million to integrate Scottish Power in the SAP

The project includes implementing a single systems and processes model and changing the version of Iberdrola’s SAP software. Work will also be carried out on creating a methodology for integrating and defining a strategy model using the group’s common requirements, which can be used as a basis for implementation in future acquisitions.

According to María Camacho, the everis manager in charge of this project, “this contract will give us the chance to tackle an important job on an international scale by bringing together two leading energy sector companies”.

The project is included within the Iberdrola and ScottishPower integration framework, the first phase of which finalised last October. Both companies, who merged a year ago in a friendly transaction valued at €17.1 billion, have made efforts to programme various initiatives aimed at integrating their respective corporate and distribution processes and systems.
