OutSystems and everis to bring low-code leading platform to Belgian and Luxembourg markets
Thursday, 25 July, 2019

everis and OutSystems, provider of the leading low-code platform for application development, have expanded their collaboration by offering OutSystems’ products and services to the BeLux insurance market.

Low code and agile methods will help insurers to accelerate their digital transformation and reduce risks, improving the digital user experience around products and services.

The low code apps market is growing rapidly (with a compound annual growth of 44% between 2017 and 2022) and software is becoming a major competitive advantage in all sectors.

Supporting insurers with digital transformation

IT Service Provider everis has been a trusted partner of OutSystems since 2011. everis already carries out OutSystems projects for insurers in regions such as the Iberian Peninsula, the United Kingdom and Latin America. They offer the OutSystems platform to help insurers meet the needs of their customers more quickly. This will shape the digital transformation of these organisations. In addition, everis BeLux calls on the 'Insurance Service Hub'. This is the expertise centre in Lisbon that offers the required OutSystems skills and has sector-specific knowledge and solutions.

Jörgen Simon, Regional Director Channel & Alliances Nordics and BeLux at OutSystems: "OutSystems is delighted to be working closely with everis in Belgium and Luxembourg as well. The low code development in these countries is enormous and we are happy to work with everis to guide organizations in their digital transformation."

Dirk Croenen, director of the Belux Insurance sector team: "The need for our customers to be able to carry out digital transformation projects quickly and to respond quickly to changing consumer behaviour is more relevant than ever. At the same time, the alignment between business and IT and the continued monitoring of technical evolutions and the integration of solutions remains a huge challenge for our customers. We are convinced that OutSystems as a 'low code' platform and the way business and IT work together facilitating these kinds of platforms (focus on user experience, processes, productivity) contribute in a very important way to increase productivity during the project execution and 'value for money' of the end result.

Eduardo Romano, ex-CIO of Liberty Seguros, customer of everis and Outsystems and now director of the everis Outsystems competence centre: "Developing systems to achieve a higher level of involvement and using applications that offer users the best user experience is a requirement today. Just offering a good user experience and reaching a high level of involvement no longer distinguishes organisations from the competition. The challenge is to do it faster and better than the competition and that is only possible with low code solutions."
