Monday, 11 March, 2019

everis Aerospace, Defense and Security (everis ADS) will be present at the new edition of the World ATM Congress, one of the international events of reference in the field of air traffic management. The event is celebrated on March 12, 13 and 14.

The company will show its latest developments at the congress, including ATOM and AIRUS. ATOM is a tool to provide electronic data on terrain and obstacles for airport and navigation environments (eTOD). On the other hand, AIRUS is the new U-Space / UTM management solution of everis ADS, which follows modular, flexible and scalable principles under DO-278A software standards. Another novelty that will be shown in this edition is the Aster-T, an advanced tethered UAV system that provides a fast and uninterrupted air coverage, with many applications.

Additionally, our ATM Director, Carlos Hernández, will participate in a round table organized by GUTMA (Global UTM Association) in the FABEC OPS Theater of the World ATM Congress, on Thursday, March 14, starting at 11:00 am. During his intervention, he will address the challenges of flying a drone in a controlled airspace in the U-Space / UTM.
