everis focuses on social robotics, security and data analytics at MWC 2018
Wednesday, 21 February, 2018

everis will be present at MWC, at group NTT's stand, where it will display different solutions in the fields of social robotics and data analytics.

As part of the congress, everis will host the presentation of Jibo within the Spanish market, the first domestic social robot that was developed by MIT professor Cynthia Breazeal. Jibo's main highlight is its personality which enables it to recognise familiar human faces and react physically to conversations it holds with them. This lets it develop its own personality which evolves with time.

In the field of data analytics, everis will display two solutions:  ehCOS Smart ICU and allWaste. The first is based on predictive analytics and big data with the goal of improving the quality of patient care in intensive care units. In turn, allWaste is a solution focused on integrated waste management and road cleaning based on a technological system which uses numerous devices and sensors to improve productivity as well as optimise routes and service quality.

Those attending MWC will also be able to see a motorbike simulator developed by Simumak, an everis Aerospace and Defense company. This solution is an example of the role simulation technology plays in advanced training for drivers whic improves road safety and vehicle fatality rates.

NTT Group: artificial intelligence, IoT and 5G

NTT Group will also be present at MWC with recent advancements that will affect different business sectors, and displaying representative examples with a look into the future of B2B2X cases based on technologies such as AI, IoT and 5G.

In this context, NTT Group will give a live demonstration of a robot making calligraphy thanks to 5G technology, as well as showcasing the impact of Big Data on vehicles and the use of IoT and AI tools for predictive management and control of waterway vessels.
